في الجزء الأول من هذا الكتاب تم تسليط الضوء على الوجود الكردي في سوريا ولا سيما في المناطق الداخلية من البلاد، والدور الوطني الكردي خلال مرحلة الانتداب الفرنسي على سوريا بين عامي 1920-1946، وفي الجزء الثاني تم التركيز على سياسة التهميش والإقصاء التي مورست ضد الكرد منذ بداية العهد الوطني بعد الاستقلال ومن ثم القمع والاضطهاد، والمشاريع العنصرية والإجراءات الاستثنائية التي طبقت بحق الكرد.
