Overview
الإلياذة واحدة من أقدم وأعرق الملاحم الشعرية في العالم ان لم تكن أقدمها جميعا وتنسب الى الشاعر هوميروس، الذي كتب ملحمة أخرى لا تقل عن شهرة الإلياذة وهي الأوديسة قبل الميلاد بعدة قرون. الإلياذة أيضا، شأن الملاحم الكبرى تصور علاقة الإنسان بالآلهة والأحكام التي تفرضها الآلهة على البشر، وصراع البشر من أجل السعادة والحب، والحقيقة ان صدور ترجمة جديدة للإلياذة عن اليونانية مباشرة ومزودة بملاحق ضمت جداول وكشافات للآلهة اليونانيين وللشخصيات الأسطورية تعد حدثا ثقافيا عربيا ضخما، فللمرة الأولى يضع فريق كامل من كبار المتخصصين على عاتقه القيام بمثل هذا العمل.
