Overview
Los recuerdos del porvenir (1963), de Elena Garro, es una de las novelas más discutidas (y tal vez menos leídas) de la narrativa mexicana moderna. La obra significó el ingreso de la autora al ámbito de la narrativa, ocupando, desde entonces, un lugar central en la literatura mexicana. En este artículo se analizan las estrategias narrativas desplegadas dentro de la novela para describir la manera en que el narrador principal, el pueblo de Ixtepec, es desplazado de manera sigilosa por los habitantes y personajes del texto.
